Abstract: A study of the multi-fractal nature of three time series related to the Hushen300 index, HS300, including daily closing prices, daily yield rates and daily traded volumes time series is presented. Multi-fractal Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (MFDFA) is used in the study. The results show that the three related time series are with strong persistence characters. By multi-fractal spectrum analysis, the width of the multi-fractal Spectra of traded volume series is to be found the biggest among the three. It means that the traded volumes series are most irregular.

Abstract: For wireless sensor networks, clustering algori-thms provides an effective way to prolong the life time using the multi-hop forwarding model. Nevertheless, they rarely consider the hot spots problem and the problem of unbalanced energy consumption among cluster heads. To solve the problems, we proposed an energy-efficient unequal clustering algorithm with the ideal of unequal clustering in the circle area where the cluster heads are in charge of different geographical scope according to different distance to the base station. Considering the cluster heads closer to the BS be burdened with heavy relay traffic, the cluster in inner layers, which is closer to the base station, is smaller than the outer layer. It could reduce the number of cluster members and lead to the proportional energy dissipation in each layer. Simulation results show that our algorithm improve energy utilization and prolonged the life of the entire Wireless Sensor Networks effectively.

Abstract: Different from the other distribution center location methods, there are new characteristics in distribution center location during earthquake disaster responses. In this paper, we investigate the factors impacting the location of distribution center during earthquake responses, and propose a decision-making model based on improved AHP framework for this issue. The improved AHP is extended to automatically calculate large scale judgment matrices by the crosstie model. This decision-making model was successfully applied in the simulation case of Yushu earthquake responses in 2010. The results show that the proposed decision-making model is reasonable.

Abstract: Investor’s order behavior directly reveals his willingness. Investors usually submit their orders according to their information. Different information will lead to diversity order behavior. In this paper, based on the asymmetry information, an investor’s order choice model in Chinese order-driven market is constructed, and then the role of asymmetry information on order submission strategy is investigated. By modifying the restriction on the duration of information, this paper discusses private information duration and uninformed investor’s learning process and investor’s optimal order strategy, and then concludes that when informed investor places market order, uninformed investor is more inclined to place limit order; only at the beginning of trading when informed investor places limit order, the uninformed buyer is more inclined to place market order.

Abstract: To study modeling for command activities process and command information process with the IDEF0 and IDEF3 method respectively. The purpose is to help staffs and commanders to understand and communicate by command process model, and lay foundation for the continuing transformation of the process of follow-up command and flexible reorganization under different operational conditions. Finally as an example, the electromagnetic spectrum management command process of joint operations is built to illuminate how to use the modelling method.

Abstract: A neural gas network is a single-layered soft competitive neural network, which has many advantages for clustering analysis comparing to Kohonen's self-organizing map, K-means etc. This paper proposes a splitting neural gas algorithm (SNG). By initializing neurons splitting and finally deleting operations, the SNG can be used to characterize a certain class pattern effectively. We utilize the SNG to construct the profile of normal activities for anomaly detection in network security. Simulations are carried out using KDD CUP intrusion detection evaluation datasets. The experimental results showed that the SNG classifier can achieve the detection rate higher than 99% with a false positive rate lower than 1.6% and outperform many other recent supervised or unsupervised approaches.

Abstract: In this paper, the stability and stabilization problems of a class of networked control systems (NCSs) with bounded packet dropout are investigated. An iterative approach is proposed to model NCSs with bounded packet dropout as Markovian jump linear systems (MJLSs). The transition probabilities of MJLSs are partly unknown due to the complexity of network. The system under consideration is more general, which covers the systems with completely known and completely unknown transition probabilities as two special cases. Moreover, both sensor-to-controller and controller-to-actuator packet dropouts are considered simultaneously. The sufficient conditions for stochastic stability and stabilization of the underlying systems are derived via linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) formulation. Lastly, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Abstract: In this paper, the finite-time boundedness and stabilization problems of a class of networked control systems (NCSs) with bounded packet dropout are investigated. The main results provided in the paper are sufficient conditions for finite-time boundedness and stability via state feedback. An iterative approach is proposed to model NCSs with bounded packet dropout as jump liner systems (JLSs). Based on Lyapunov stability theory and JLSs theory, the sufficient conditions for finite-time boundedness and stabilization of the underlying systems are derived via liner matrix inequalities (LMIs) formulation. Moreover, both sensor-to-controller and controller-to-actuator packet dropouts are considered simultaneously. Lastly, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

Abstract: A smart home structure using network (internet, intranet, wireless etc.) is designed and developed to monitor the circumstances and control the appliances in the house when sensors are triggered by some unexpected cases. A good host of low-cost sensors is used to make anti theft alarm, fire alarm, smog alarm etc. And then transmitted these data got from the measuring devices to neutral module. The neutral module is constructed by ARM-S3C6410 hardware and embedded Linux. It can transmit messages to the householders after processed. The householders can visit the web server to make it clear what happened in the house. Moreover, they can control some appliances to make incidences back to normal through the Internet. If the owners are holding mobile phones, the neutral module will transmit text messages to them. In turn, they can also control the appliances by sending some specific instructions. And then the neutral module will give some other messages as feedback. Additionally, visible interphone technology also makes function in this system. A LCD is organized in the neutral module, one person who stays in the house can make a good conversation with others through neutral platform. Finally, a series of experiments are posed to estimate the performance of our solution.

Abstract: The combination of AR and GIS is introduced into the intelligent terminal, the augmented reality technology was used to provide the navigation service on the real time video. This paper designs and realizes a smart and constricted prototype system to expand and popularize the traditional application of AR. It integrates the registration method, application of GIS and electronic compass of intelligent terminal. And it uses the method and simplified space scene model and the match method proposed in this paper. By using the standard interface of embedded system as a bridge and based on the computer graphics it provides real-time navigation service on the intelligent terminal. This develops and improves the traditional human-computer interactive processing mode.
