Research on Performance Influence of the Coin Recognition Device by Coil Parameters Based on Mechanical Properties

Abstract:

Recently the coin recognizing device is mainly based on the usage of the eddy current sensor which is the key component to determine the measuring precision. Much work have been devoted to improve the precision, however, the result is not very good. The paper presents the research and experiment in mechanical properties of iron core, coil diameters, and installation to analyze the factors affecting the precision and gives the optimized design for reference. The improved solution is adopted widely in the coin telephone of HT998(3)P/T and the recognizing precision is increased by 22%.
