Studies on Oxidation of Adrenaline Using Encaged FePc in Y Zeolite as Catalyst

Article Preview

Abstract:

The oxidation of adrenaline (AD) using iron phthalocyanine encaged in Y zeolite (FePc/Y) as catalyst was investigated by UV-Vis spectroscopic analysis. The influence factors of catalytic efficiency, such as catalytic time and temperature, the pH value of solution and the amount of FePc/Y, have been investigated. The results indicated that AD could be effectively catalyzed by FePc/Y.
