Static Coupling Analysis of a Six-Axis Force Sensor Based on Double Layer E-Type Membrane

Abstract:

The static coupling of a six-axis force/torque sensor is a major factor restricting its measuring accuracy. At present there is little literature quantitatively describing the coupling relationship in theory. This paper adopts an analytical modeling method to carry out the theoretical calculations for the deformation, stress and strain of the six-axis force/torque sensor based on double layer E-type membrane, and then analyze the static coupling relationship among dimensions on that basis.
