The Seismic Performance of High-Rise Structure with Different Conversion Layer Position

Article Preview

Abstract:

In order to study the conversion layer position to the effects on seismic characteristics of high-rise structure, this paper made the frame supported structure of high-rise building model using finite element software Etabs. Through four different height conversion layers of analysis model, it studies the setting height to the influence of the dynamic characteristics on the structure system. The results shows that the conversion layer position will all produce unfavorable effects on seismic performance for the whole structure, no matter that too low or too high.
