The Sun-Shading Technologies of the Existing Traditional Dwellings in China

Abstract:

Shading space is an important characteristic of China's traditional architecture. The traditional dwellings in China are taken as the research object. On the basis of the statement of the classification and function of building shading, this paper focuses on the various shading methods such as eaves shading, function space shading, windows shading, courtyard shading, green shading and building mutual shading in the building layout.
