Analysis On Morphology Of Settlement and Residence In Wangyu Village

Abstract:

According to the legend，Lingshi county Wangyu village evolved continuously from Gu village, the station where Da yu once combated the flood. Even to this day, it also keeps the complete pattern and basic elements of Chinese ancient village. It has the high significance and value of the reasearch. Through the location characteristics and the historical background, discusses the main causes of the settlement landscape features, preliminary anlysis the structure layout, spatial organization and the morphological characteristics of the settlement landscape and residence, summarize the valued characteristic of the ancient village.
