SBW Control Strategy with Ideal Transmission and Feedback of Energy Phase-Plane

Article Preview

Abstract:

Aiming at improving vehicle’s handing stability, based on Simulink and SimPower, in this paper, a steer-by-wire(SBW) model with actor physical model has been built. Based on node and saddle points’ position on β-r phase plane, analyzing different factors influence on handing stability, such as wheel angle and speed. Then put forward an ideal transmission control strategy with energy phase plane feedback. Through simulating and analyzing with phase plane on limit steering condition, this paper verifies the control strategy with feedback will increase handing stability more than traditional ideal transmission strategy.
