Research on Inventory and Transportation Integrated Optimization for Railway Fuel Supply

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper abstracts the railway fuel supply system into a logistics system composed of a single supplier and multiple demand suppliers.By comprehensively considering inventory costs, procurement costs and transportation costs, the paper establishes a railway fuel inventory -transportation integrated optimization model based on VMI to study a single order quantity within a cycle and determine the order number and the transport routes. This paper adopt the iterative method and genetic algorithm to solve the model and eventually reaching the target of minimizing the overall cost of the rail fuel system.
