The Research on the Evaluation and Warning Model of Mining Industries' Security

Abstract:

This paper establishes the early warning index system for the security of Chinese mining industry. After that, this paper measures the safety situation of mining sub-industries during 2002-2009 by the combination of Information Entropy and Grey Theory. The research results show that during 2002-2009, the mining sub-industries are safe, except in 2002. Then, it simulates and forecasts the safe results of mining sub-industry by building a model based on the back-propagation network method. The results also show that the model is suitable for the results of the early warning outcome and applicable to forecast the security of mining sub-industry.
