Abstract:

SQL Server supported execution of multiple SQL statements at a time, these statements as a whole is called a batch. The features of batch execution plan is different from that of single statement execution plan. This paper discussed the recompilation and the rebuilding of batch execution plan. By detailed experiments, it shown the differences between plan recompilation and rebuilding and the main events resulting in the plan recompilation and rebuilding.
