Design and Implementation of the Steel Enterprise MES Based on CICS

Abstract:

The CICS middleware offers the implement of MES a transaction management environment. It is suitable for the steel enterprises which need to use the MES to enforce the production automation and management information. This paper presents a three-tier intermediate platform based on CICS middleware which can shield the different hardware and software platform behind it and ensure the accurate and reliable data transmission. It focuses on the design and implementation process of application software system based on CICS, describing the software framework, modules and technology of the system.
