Design and Study on Integrated Fabric GPS Micro Strip Antenna

Article Preview

Abstract:

Integrated antenna is a kind of functional fabric which is used for positioning and navigation. In this thesis, this antenna has been successfully developed with Φ0.1mm copper wire and 500dtex polyester as materials which combined ground plate, dielectric substrate and radiation layer together, utilizing the theory of the textile multilayer’s connection. The test result shows that when the working frequency was 1.575GHz, the value of RL(Return Loss) was 3.4dB. And the axial ratio was -14.7dB. Moreover transmission gain shows the value 3.7dBi. In conclusion, this antenna has already met the GPS applying requirements.
