Study on Risk Evaluation of Oil Spilling from Ship Based on the Gray Theory

Article Preview

Abstract:

At present, with the continuous increase of the nautical navigation density and the number of large size & specialization of the dangerous cargo vessels, the potential risk of oil spill accident from ships has been growing. On this background, this paper analyses three major factors affecting the risk assessment of ship oil spilling; then uses the gray theory to establish multi-level gray evaluation model and calculates the gray evaluation coefficient, weight vector and weight matrix; at last, the paper gives a comprehensive evaluation and makes example verification according to the calculation result. The result shows that this model has the characteristics of simple in calculation, clear in level and credible in the result.
