Abstract:

This paper presents the application of bidirectional communication technology of CATV in Electricity Consumption Information Collection System (ECICS), analyses the architecture of bidirectional communication technology and the communication technologies to improve the quality of service, describes the physical architecture, security architecture and system functions of ECICS based on CATV communication network .
