The Patterns of Management and Utilization of Landslips and Corresponding Landscape Ecological Reconstruction in the Coal Mine Area in China

Article Preview

Abstract:

Landslip in coal area is a special kind of ecological landscape. Now, the ecological restoration and reconstruction of the landscapes has become more important due to man-made destruction, such as structural and functional degradation, severe damage of its utilization value and service function. The productive and living functions are restored, and eco-economical benefits and aesthetic value were increased through rehabilitation and reconstruction of the ecological landscape in coal area. The present state and the types of the landslips in the coal mine area were first discussed; then, several patterns of the correspondent management and utilization fit for different types of landslips are sought out; and then, the Teng-nan Coal Mine in Zaozhuang city in China was taken as an example to analyze the benefits of the utilization and management. Finally, the ecological reconstruction of landscape in landslip area was under discussion.
