Abstract:
The reaction of copper 2,2-dichloroacetic acid and heterocyclic diimine (benz) ligands under mildconditions affords one supramolecular complexes, [Cu (bipy)2[[H22 (bipy=benz, X=dichloroacetic acid). The compounds involves a regular square based pyramidal one and were constituted through hydrogen bonding and ππ interactions between the heterocyclic rings.
