Abstract:

Concrete U-shaped beam consists of driving deck and the two side beams. Concrete U-shaped beam is a kind of low height bridge. The application of concrete U-shaped beam is in highway and city bridge. It has a good potential application in low for medium span highway construction and for the height of concrete girder bridge construction. To the continuous U-shaped beam, based on the nonlinear finite element method, with the help of appropriatel element to simulate the concrete and steel, prestressed effect can be achieved in the body. At the same time, the cracking, yielding and crushing of concrete nonlinear change could be described through appropriate criteria. Combined with practical engineering calculation results shows that common reinforced steel is pressed n the early period, but fastened in the late period. The deflection of prestressed reinforcement is in linear elastic growth in the early period, growth is small, but deflection develops rapidly in the later period until structural failure. In this paper, a reliable calculation method is provided by researching the mechanical properties for prestressed concrete continuous U-shaped beam.
