Experimental Research on the Operation of Solar Energy Desalination System

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper demonstrates a self-made solar energy desalination system of pouring falling film evaporation and condensation and multi-effect heat return, which adopts solar energy heat gathering system as the heat source and wind-power generation as the power supply, realizing the optimal matching of the whole system. The practical operation of the system is tested and the results show that the water yield per heat gathering area unit reaches 12 kg/m2·d when the solar radiation is 20MJ/d. Also, this paper explores and analyzes the main factors influencing the water yield, so as to figure out the favorable operating parameters.
