Study General Peak-Pressure Formula on Flat-Structure Slamming into Water

Article Preview

Abstract:

Aimed at those accidents such as bridge collapsed, lifting containers fall off etc., based on slamming theory, combined with such practical engineering problems, simplified slamming model rationally, and carried out corresponding physical model experiment, thus obtained universal peak-pressure formula on this type slamming issues. Then take further research to validate the formula through others data, the results show that the formula has a good reference for actual engineering problems.
