Research on Chinese Population Aging Speed Based on the ARMA Model

Abstract:

China is a country with millions of people. Population aging is one of the important factors restricting the sustainable development of Chinese economy. In this paper, using the Chinese population density data, we established the ARMA model to make predictions and analysis for Chinese population growth trends and age structure changes, that provide a scientific theory for the government to develop the relevant policies.
