Abstract:

In this paper, we set one models in total, based on taking it into account that two-lane highway capacity, security, and traffic flow efficiency in different traffic load conditions. We propose one evaluation indexes, that is, average number of vehicle decelerating and following others, free passage probability, average number of overtaking, the accident probability, and the average traffic speed of vehicles, to analyze the change rule of every index under different vehicle density.
