Abstract:

At present domestic GIS training mode and curriculum system differences, mostly dependent on the original maternal professional (such as mapping, geography, and computer), the training mode and market demand for GIS staff have difference. In the aspect of training GIS talents, there still exist many problems, but the most concern is the selection of computer and mapping class curriculum system. Open GIS universities are limited by their limited resources, in the curriculum system, is not completely according to the professional direction, talent needs reasonable selection of computer and mapping class curriculum, but according to the existing teaching resources (existing professional and research directions such as experimental facilities, teachers and the current staffing and so on) to the curriculum configuration this often leads to the final result, to set the course according to the teachers' training mode; this will cause the extremely serious consequence, free to piece together the course system is not possible to develop Beibu Bay area market demand for talents. The basis and origin of the mapping and computer class talked about, to explore the training mode is suitable for the characteristic of Beibu Bay area GIS talents, curriculum system construction to improve GIS adaptation training mode, strive for reasonable selection of Surveying and mapping and computer courses.
