Abstract: Based on mode coupling theory, Tilted Fiber Bragg Grating temperature sensing principle and the characteristics of transmission spectra have been proposed. The temperature shift of fundamental modes resonance wavelengths and high-order modes resonance wavelengths were investigated by means of simulation method. The tilted angle on the effect of resonance wavelengths was discussed. The results show that the different resonance wavelengths are linearity increased with ambient temperatures. The fundamental modes are more sensitive than the high-modes ones. The conclusion has certain significance for TFBG fabrication.

Abstract: Automatic quasi-synchronization device is an important device for power plants, which directly affect the safety and life of the generator as well as energy savings. Adverse devices and network with the same period a manual generator are killers and it has an affect the operation of the power system. There are still a large number of power plants and networks using manual mode, although most plants have automatic synchronizing device, but most are in the disabled state. Technology development path suited to phase out production which is old and bad and replace them with the more advanced new products. Therefore, the development of advanced computer automatic synchronizing device can greatly prevent the occurrence of the closing asynchronous generator. This paper introduces the development status automatic synchronizing device, discusses the hardware design of DSP-based automatic synchronizing device and automatic synchronization process simulation.

Abstract: In view of the elderly apartment nursing staff shortages and intravenous rely on manual adjustment, visual control technology present situation; this paper designs a wireless module APC220 elderly apartment infusion of intelligent monitoring system. System adopts master-slave control structure, controlled by single chip microcomputer from the station to realize droplets monitoring, stepper motor control of the infusion dripping speed, LCD display, sound and light alarm function such as the abnormal infusion and transfusion, and the transmission function by wireless module implements monitoring data; The main data wireless receiving and transmitted to the PC, socialized service for the purpose of advanced information technology.

Abstract: This paper describes an indoor monitoring system based on Atmega128L, which uses the temperature, smoke and carbon monoxide sensor to collect indoor danger signals, analyzes the field data collected wireless transceiver device and a central processing unit composed by Atmega128L and NRF24L01 single chip, and meanwhile transmits the information to a small control room, making abnormal indoor information processed timely.

Abstract: The fluorescence of N-methyl-1-naphthymethylamine (NA) was reversible modulated by acid and base based on switching photoinduced electron transfer (PET) process, which constituted a reversible on –off switch. However, addition of a calix [4] arene-spiropyran (Calix-2sp) derivative, which has absorption from 200 nm to 400 nm, caused that the fluorescence of protonated NA (NAH) was quenched and it could not be return to its initial high value by means of addition of acid again. Thus, the system made up of an INHIBIT logic gate.

Abstract: A hardware system based on digital signal processor (DSP) is designed for power line carrier communication (PLC) over medium voltage power line networks. This system is designed to realize better stability and reliability of data communication in electric system. This paper introduces PLC technology, and then discusses the composition of this system and gives design scheme. Finally, the DSP implementation is developed with analog front-end (AFE) and coupling circuit. This paper shows a new PLC and automatic management solution.

Abstract: Traditional folk houses in rural areas of north China are mostly Brick-Wood Building, for those houses draw on local resources, only need simple structures and cost less, which precisely fits the economic conditions in rural areas. However, due to all sorts of reasons, walls of those houses might easily crack, which will bring safety loopholes and panic inhabitants as well. With a village in North China as the study and research subject, first of all, the paper analyzes the locations and patterns of cracks appearing on walls and divided those cracks into eight types; then the causes of wall cracks are primarily explored, and after analysis the author comes to a conclusion that the freeze-thaw action of subsoil, disastrous weather, seismic action, natural ageing and construction quality etc. are directly related to wall cracks, while bearing capacity of foundation soil and ground settlement has no direct relationship with wall cracks.

Abstract: Due to poor economic conditions, houses in most rural areas of China are built by farmers themselves. While it still remains to be explored whether those houses could prevent themselves and people living in them from earthquake damages because they lack normative design and construction. With a village in North China whose seismic fortification intensity is 8 as the study subject, the paper explores practical anti-seismic capacity of current traditional folk houses by conducting a research about 315 households houses in this village and analyzing the house conditions and relevant seismic data. After study, the author comes to a conclusion that the traditional dwellings are with serious safety loopholes and can not resist earthquakes in this area, for those houses are influenced by earthquakes all year round and have more or less been damaged in varying degrees. Last but not the least, the paper presents some suggestions on earthquake resistant measures that newly-built houses in rural areas should adopt based on current practical situation.
