Modal Analysis of a Multi-Floor Local Discontinuous Construction before and after Isolation

Abstract:

The multi-floor frame structure of partial discontinuity used lead rubber pad as the base isolation device. The paper had modal analysis of its earthquake response before and after isolation, focused on comparing the period under Tianjin wave before and after the isolation, which concluded the isolation effect of lead rubber isolation pad on the frame structure.
