Parametric Design of Jib in Rapid Design System of Tower Crane

Abstract:

In rapid designing system of tower crane, the parametric design of jib is one of the key points in the process. The whole process of parametric design for the jib is introduced in this paper, which includes parameterization of a single part, parameterization of entire jib, jib design with the characteristic of changing arms for tower crane and design method of automatic assembly for the jib, etc. Realization of the jib parametric design lays foundation for the rapid design system of tower crane.
