Numerical Simulation on Controlling Factor of Energy Distribution in Coal Bump

Article Preview

Abstract:

Elastic energy that cause coal bump will be stored in coal and rocks when excavating, which has a relationship with time and space. Based on analysis of "7.16 coal bump" accident in Cheng Shan coal mine, 3 impact factors including stability-time, goaf and roof strength were confirmed, then the distribution of energy under different conditions was simulated with Flac3D, the result showed that, 3 mentioned factors all have an impact on energy, and the impact descending order of these factors is: goaf, roof strength and time, while the controlling factor of this accident is goaf.
