Information Fusion and Application of Fiber-Capacitive Sensor

Article Preview

Abstract:

Droplet analysis technology is very important in the field of liquid detection. Optical fiber method is comparatively mature, but it is susceptible to the fluid velocity, volatility and other uncertain factors. Capacitive method is easy to be influenced by the environmental temperature. Above condition limit the practicability of droplet sensor to some extent. The multi-sensor information fusion technology is put forward in this paper to combine the optical fiber method and the capacitive method. The fiber-capacitive droplet sensor is especially designed, so that the data acquired from different sensors are integrated and complementary. Experimental results show that the reproducibility of the measurement and the comparability of the liquid drop fingerprints among different samples are improved.
