FEM Analysis of Helicopter Gondola for Live Working

Abstract:

In this paper, the FEM analysis of helicopter gondola for live working is analyzed with ANSYS, and based on modeling a simplified gondola model, which includes the appropriate elements selecting and the boundary conditions processing. The maximum stresses and the maximum deformations are calculated under nine kinds of load conditions, to determine which parts of the gondola are in danger, then provides references for the subsequent structure design of gondola.
