Motion Simulation Analysis and Load Analysis of the Moving Beam System in the Walking Beam

Abstract:

Walking beam transport is short for walking beam, mainly is responsible for transporting steel coil,and is an important process equipment and transportation device.The working referring to two parts is mainly studied in this paper.Firstly SolidWorks software was used to analyze the movement and force for the building model; In the second ANSYS software was used to do the structure stress analysis for the main parts of the walking beam.Through the analysis, it could be drawn the stress and deformation relevant data of the walking beam.It found the maximum principal stress is in line with the material allowable stress on the moving beam section.The results proved the moving beam system in the walking beam could satisfy the requirements of production, providing a theoretical basis for the structural analysis of practical production.
