Simulation and Experiment Research on the Swirling Airflow Compounded with Magnetic-Field Finishing

Article Preview

Abstract:

A new finishing technology of the swirling airflow compounded with magnetic-field is advanced. Magnetic field simulation and flow field simulation are done through ANSYS and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. Unthreaded hole is experimented on the basis of simulation. Research indicates that the swirling airflow compounded with magnetic-field finishing is feasible and adding magnetic field may avoid the ununiformity of the swirling airflow finishing as well as increase finishing effect. It provides credible theoretic basis for technology improvement.
