Abstract: Axle is one of the most important parts related to the safety of trailer’s operation on the railroad. In China, the checking of axles is mainly through visual inspection and hammer examinations. The construction of an automation hardware system was simulated by Pro/E, including support, guide rail, sensor, AC servomotor and servo driver conformed to the model. Next, for controlling the operation of the entire system, LabVIEW was used to write a program and to control the rotation of servomotor. The pressure heads controlled by linkage system were utilized to load the axle; meanwhile, through the PCI of NI, the data of pressure and displacement was collected. After calibration, the relative error of pinpointing sensor was 5.207%, and the average relative error was about 1.4%. Analyzed by SPSS, the voltage-load formula's correlation coefficient R is greater than 0.994, while the significance is less than 0.05, showing the regression of great significance. Finally, the capabilities of the simulated axle, such as fatigue, stiffness, intensity and stress, were analyzed carefully.

Abstract: Using truck weigh device, the data of traffic stream was collected from a toll station in Shaanxi province for 24 hours. A standard fatigue truck was developed based on the regular traffic data. Then S-N curves and Palgrem-Miner summation method was introduced in assessing fatigue life of the reinforcement in negative region of one continuous concrete bridge. It was concluded that the welding detail of reinforcement in negative region had long service life under normal traffic state. The fatigue life of reinforcement would be weakened considering overloading vehicles.

Abstract: In the past ten years, considerable increases in traffic volume and vehicle loads have caused obviously fatigue damage in existing highway reinforced concrete bridges in China. Some highway reinforced concrete bridges were damaged seriously, leading to the whole bridge collapse sometimes because of overloading and oversize trucks. In order to observe the highway load character in Shaanxi province, truck weigh device is set up in highway pavement to measure axle weights and axle spacing. Based on these data, it can be classified and generalized the different classes of vehicles, and drawn out the simplifying fatigue truck model in Shaanxi province. Furthermore, the fatigue truck model was used to evaluate the fatigue life and service safety of typical concrete bridges.

Abstract: This paper shows the static strength analysis of the tractor front axle housing by using of the finite element analysis software ANSYS, visually shows equivalent stress and strain distribution and vertical displacement distribution of the front axle housing. At the same time it also shows the analysis results of the model processing, the results of accuracy and reliability, and the weak links of the structure. By analyzing the weakest link and the difference in strength between each node for the overall structure in the condition, it can provide a direction and theoretical basis for the design and optimization of geometric entities. And the results of the analysis may be as the basis for structural improvement. In this way, it can be verified that using computer virtual software for product development is positive.

Abstract: This paper aimed to solve the problems that traffic detector which was used in china, can't satisfies the multifunction and high-accuracy needs of the domestic traffic survey and traffic volume measurement.We designed a traffic detection system based on laser and piezoelectric technologies,which is made up of laser speed sensor, laser scanning sensor, piezoelectric axle shaft sensor, data acquisition unit, software system and server, and their application was discussed in detail. The working principles of laser speed sensor, laser scanning sensor, piezoelectric axle shaft sensor were presented, and the detection parameters of the system were put forward. The whole structure and data processing flow of software system were also pointed out. Through test verification, the multifunction and high-accuracy characteristics of the system were verified. This traffic detection system has great significance for enhancing the research level of the domestic traffic survey and traffic volume measurement.
