The Frame Structure Analysis of the Structure with Repaired Part

Article Preview

Abstract:

The requirement of a repairing technique for aged structures such as pipe line systems has increased recently. To ascertain the reliability of such repaired components, the stress and deformation in the structural system, including the repaired part, needs to be analyzed. In this study, a basic theory for the frame structure analysis method, which can be used to analyze the deformation and stress in the structure including inhomogeneous element modeling a repaired part, is formulated. A numerical simulation software is also developed.
