Selective Transfer Phenomenon in Friction Couples Lubricated with Base Oils

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper deals with generation of selective transfer phenomenon in couples consisting of frictionally-mating elements made of steel and lubricated with oils modified by addition of metal micro- and nanoparticles. Presented results demonstrate the possibility of generation of selective transfer phenomenon in this kind of tribological systems.
