Abstract: The paper presents an automated guided vehicle transportation subsystem used for work-in-process movement, built at the Production Engineering Institute of Cracow University of Technology. It describes design and operational parameters of built vehicles as well as the principles of integration of AGV control subsystem with the AIM multi-agent manufacturing control system. Furthermore, results of the verification of applied path-finding, anti-collision and anti-deadlock algorithms are included.

Abstract: In this paper the attempt to make an analysis of distance measurement using a stereo vision system was presented. Main emphasis was placed on the geometric camera calibration. The classical method based on the specially prepared calibration pattern with known dimensions and position in a certain coordinates system was performed. Finally, the metric information obtained from images was presented.

Abstract: Electronic visual observation devices are the most important ways to conduct navigation and the observation of sea navigation in bad weather and at night. The use of unmanned craft requires the use of different kinds of sensors for navigation and the execution of the tasks posed to them during their operational use. For navigation, especially the combat system is an indispensable optoelektronic head with termovision equipment. In the article, discuss problems associated the equipment of the first Polish unmanned surface vehicle "Edredon" in the camera optical sensors.

Abstract: This paper attempts to develop a segmentation algorithm applicable to the issue of recognizing objects in video images. The paper presents the steps of the algorithm with a discussion of techniques used in mathematical morphology, filtration and gradient methods. Also there were presented examples of the results of a verification researches.

Abstract: This paper describes some common problems associated with negative influence of UUV self noise on detection aspect in water environment. Some tasks of military applications require silent behavior of UUVs: Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Rapid Environmental Assessment (REA), Mine Countermeasure (MCM) etc. Moreover, this paper review methods of underwater sound measurement and on the end as a summary presents results of an experiment from the water tank trials where were investigated three UUVs: one ROV and two biomimetic autonomous underwater vehicle.
