Fibre Cement Board Characteristics in Relation to Bulk Density and the Way of Treatment

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper deals with the influence of different treatments on the properties of fibre cement boards. In the article, six basic treatment options were used for the manufactured boards, which were applied after mixing and pressing. Within the experimental part it was found that the chosen treatment options have no positive effect or have insignificant effect on the resulting properties; however the different pressing load during manufacturing of the boards have great influence directly on all physically-mechanical properties.
