Study of the Micro-Hardness of Anti-Friction Coating after Plastic Deformation in Bimetallic Sliding Bearings

Article Preview

Abstract:

The article presents the results of experimental studies of the micro-hardness of anti-friction surfaces of bimetallic sliding bearings. As a result, the nature and features of the process of distribution of the micro-hardness of the coating along the height of the anti-friction coating were revealed. A method of manufacturing a bimetallic sliding bearing is proposed, which will allow an increase in the micro-hardness of the anti-friction coating and its uniform height distribution. This method allows to reduce the porosity of the anti-friction coating and to achieve the specified processing parameters of the anti-friction surface.
