When the design work need to consider the dynamic effects of traffic, traffic load needs to be multiplied by a traffic load dynamic factor[8].
Here, for safety, we consider the traffic load dynamic factor as 1.5.

In order to ensure traffic safety on freeway, speed limit is necessary.
Moreover, comparing with daytime, it is easier to result in traffic accident in case of speeding for driver’s identification distance decrease at night.
According to statistics, freeway traffic accident rate and mortality rate at night account for 65% and 72% of the total respectively.

It is of great significance to develop new road marking materials and improve the visibility of marking materials for improving traffic efficiency and ensuring traffic safety.
As an important traffic safety facility for visual guidance and traffic diversion, road traffic marking plays an important role in preventing and reducing the occurrence of safety accidents [1].
Therefore, applying it to road marking can regulate and guide traffic by transmitting specific information, which is of great significance for improving traffic efficiency and ensuring traffic safety [36].

These aspects make turbo-roundabouts more appropriate than roundabouts when a higher level of safety has to be guaranteed, particularly in presence of relevant pedestrian and two-wheels traffic volumes.
Turbo roundabouts could be an alternative to two-lane roundabouts, especially to guarantee a high safety level, for example in case of quite heavy cyclist/pedestrian traffic [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8].

Road safety has become a major public health problem. For freeways, traffic safety is important as a crash if occurs would be more severe compared to crashes on other road types due to higher speed limits.
China,as do many other developing countries, publishes road-safety data that are not as detailed as would be desired for a comprehensive safety analysis. In general, international road-safety research would greatly benefit from expanded availability of disaggregated fatal-crash data. Most notably, the lack of detailed statistics on the interactions among factors of interest has limited this analysis.
