Influencing factors in the profit claim Engineering contract is a typical contract of civil and commercial law.
There are concepts of performance interest and reliance interest in the contract laws of civil law system in various countries.
From the above analysis, it can be clearly drawn that: the increase and decrease of engineering amount, deleting engineering and extra engineering will affect the overall profit or profit rate; therefore, they shall be compensated.

Introduction Delayed Ettringite Formation (DEF) is the dominant cause of damage for a hundred of bridges and civil engineering structures in France, some of them having a critical significance for transport and energy in the country [1].
In order to obtain quantitative evidence of the possible development of DEF on concrete heated when having reached a mature stage, an experimental investigation was launched within the frame of a partnership between the French Public Works Research Laboratory IFSTTAR and Civil Engineering Expert teams of the French Power Company EDF.
