Requirements of heavier load
and higher velocity for friction materials in advanced brake and clutch system can be met because
oxidation resistance at elevated temperature and energy absorption capacity are markedly improved if
this kind of fiber is used to the friction materials [5,6].
And also, the tiny fins can augment surface area of fiber and improve the filtering and sound absorption capabilities of porous materials.

The technology of material aggrandizement can improve material mechanics, while enhancing dynamic properties.
It has many advantages in improving properties of materials and increasing their service life.
The sample material was 45# steel.
Basic properties of materials were that yield strength was 355MPa and the tensile strength was 600MPa.

Experimental Technique Trials of grain refining and modification were realized in Department of Nonferrous Materials, Materials Science and Engineering Faculty, Polytechnic University of Bucharest, on an AlSi7Mg alloy.
Chemical compositions of the used materials Chemical composition,[ wt.%] Material Al Si Mg Mn Fe Ti B Sr AlSi7Mg Bal. 6.9 0.40 0.06 0.13 0.11 - - Al-Sr-Ti-B Bal. 0.3 - - 0.10 0.60 0.40 2.9 This was done by first letting titanium and boron react to make (Al,Ti)B2 particles, which had low solubility in molten aluminum.
