Introduction One-dimensional (1D) inorganic structures (rods, wires, tubes, belts, and cauliflower-shaped structures) have been studied deeply because of their potential properties which depend on both size and shape in electrical and optical [1].
Here, PEG was used as structure directing agent and urea was used as precipitation agent to synthetize rod-shaped TiO2.
In a typical synthesis, PEG with Mn of 6000 and urea were used as the structure-directing agent and precipitation agent, respectively.
The high photocatalytic activity is attributed to the porous structures of the rod-shaped TiO2.
Rod-shaped TiO2 showed a good photocatalytic activity in the degradation of papermaking wastewater because of their porous structures.

EDS investigation confirmed the presence of titanium in the framework of hydroxyapatite structure.
From the characterizations of synthesized Ti-HA, the Ti-HA contained high level of titanium (0.73 wt%), keeping the hydroxyapatite structure intact without producing second phase on sintering at 1000 oC.
The data do not reveal the presence of extra phases related to titanium dioxide species or other calcium phosphate species and indicates that structure of Ti-substituted hydroxyapatite keeps its original structures intact up to 1000 oC.
Incorporation of titanium affects the surface structure, surface charge, and biological activity in vitro and in vivo.

Ca2+ and most Na+ in SA molecule carried out ion exchange and formed a stable network-structure polymer SA/Ca gel pellets, which can effectively remove acid dyes from wastewater, and are easy to be separated after adsorption.
The appearance of two new crystalline peaks at 31.7° (PDF 49-1092) and 45.2° (PDF 18-0297) in the XRD pattern of SA/Ca represented the formation of SA/Ca crystal structure.
Therefore, the natural structure of SA has changed after reacting with Ca2+.

From table 4 and Fig.4 it can be seen that their structures consist of lower bainite, small upper bainite and martensite.
From metallographic structures and mechanical properties, it can be known that the brittleness increases greatly when the mixed structure consists of martensite in austempering treatment.

Besides, the chemistry stability and mechanical properties of the composite are the important performances.
Using SLA technology with photosensitive resin to prepare the prototype containing pore micro structure[8, 9], then fill the mixture mixed by thermosetting phenolic resins, pore agent (wood flour) and 8% NL curing agent(the content of pore agent is 10~15%) and pyrolysis after curing, then prepare SiC composites by Si melting reaction sintering.
This is because when the pore agent content is less than 12.5%, the porosity is not very high, and the number and size of pores are relatively small, in addition, many pores are relatively independent, and don’t form channel, the effect on the mechanical properties of structure is not serious, so the strength of composite still maintain a certain growth rate with pore agent content increasing; However, when the pore agent content is more than 12.5%, the sample had more pores, and part of pores link up , plus a lot of closed pores change into open pores, meanwhile, the macro defects of sample(such as cracks, voids, etc.) increasing, making the bonding between atoms decreases and the sample more prone damage under external load, so the strength of composite reduce.

The effect of Mo and Al content on the structure and acidity of Mo-ZSM-5 zeolites were characterized by nitrogen adsorption and NH3-TPD.
In summary the modified ZSM-5 catalyst with high propylene selectivity and high P/E ratio was attributable to the adjustment of acid properties and structure of H-ZSM-5.
