Fig. 4 the curve of reliability indicator β with the change of time Conclusions In engineering practice, strength and load are variable with time, and the corresponding reliability index is weakened gradually as the using time increases.
When the changes of strength and load with time are considered, this method is more close to the reliability problem of torsion bar in the engineering practice.
