Studying the deformation process (equipment kinematics, tool geometry, technological parameters etc.) experimentally represents a laborious activity which requires time, materials, energy.
They are connected to the modelling of the piece, partially to that of the tool and the behaviour laws for the plastic deformation of deformed materials, laws used to simulate the process.
The material used was AISI 1015.
This study can be continued for other types of materials and other types of profiles.

At present, the main materials used in electromechanical products are steel, iron and alloy steel.
These materials can be recycled.
However, there are some new developing materials, for instance engineering plastics, glass fiber reinforced plastic and some nonmetallic materials, etc., They are difficult to decompose or are harmful to the environment.
Green product design requires developments in material science.
When the raw materials for electromechancial products are produced, various kinds of waste materials including gases, solids and liquids are generated.
