As a result, to provide evidence and information for engineer designing and researching, it is necessary to lucubrate the intensity and ductility of reinforcing bar distribution and deliberate the using of reinforce materials for different soil bodies.
Wantang Ding and Shenyou Lei have conduct research on the intensity and deformation progress of reinforced soil which has distinct reinforcing bar distributions[3], they obtain a result that inhomogeneous reinforce type is appropriate for the engineering of reinforced soil body with low confining stress and deformability, in compare with that, engineering of reinforced soil body with high confining stress and deformability is much suitable for homogeneous reinforcing bar distributions.
In comparison, the application of digital image processing technique in civil engineering, especially as a method of the civil engineering testing, start within recent decade, it is relatively much later.
