The world's first rubber concrete roads was built in the United States in 2003 in northern Arizona; the rubber was used in southern section of in Yangzhou Yang antenna highway in China[6], it did not produce pro package, weeping, cracks and other phenomena within a year.
Liaoning University of Technology Tian Shuai and Northeast Forestry University Yu Tianlai [9] used MgSO4, hydrochloric acid, CaCl2, acetic acid, CS2, ammonia, Al2 (SO4) 3, acetone, glycerol and other pre-treatment as rubber modifier, and the test results showed that the rubber concrete strength loss decreased from 27.7 percent to 17.5 for 5% CaCl2 quality of rubber particles as modifiers, the effective of Al2 (SO4) 3 and MgSO4 was less.
Yang Chunfeng, Yang Min [13] used multivariate analysis to study the performance of concrete and the affect of the scrap rubber to the results.
