Taihu Lake basin is a typical water shortage area for water quality problem in China.
The results show that the major influencing factors of water environment in Taihu Lake is dissolved oxygen, water turbidity, and water N, P and other nutrient elements, and the water environment nutrients is much influenced by the N element.
Gehu Lake annual water quality evaluation in 2004 showed that more than 80% of the water is in a bad V class level.
Influence of water environment water quality and water environment many factors influence mechanism, how more complex scientific evaluation of the water environmental quality, and find out the main effect factors are the water environment problems and difficulties in the focus of research.
The main water environment factors that influence Tianmuhu Lake are dissolved oxygen, water turbidity degree and nutrient elements in water.
