Chemical reduction method for Ag-NPs production is widely used, although this resulted in harmful chemicals which have harmful effect on the environment.
The absorbance in the range of 400 nm to 450 nm has been operated as an indicator to identify the reduction of Ag+ to metallic Ag0.
An broad absorbance peak at around 350-550 nm confirmed the reduction of AgNO3 into nanoparticles.

Some empirical formulas to estimate the fatigue life and cyclic energy
dissipation capacity of the bracing members are also presented based on the experimental data.
This behavior accounted for the apparent reductions in brace stiffness and maximum tension load displayed in the later cycles of the hysteresis curves.
Some empirical formulas to estimate the fatigue life and the energy dissipation of the bracing members under cyclic loading with constant amplitude are also presented based on the experimental data.
Low-cycle fatigue damage and reduction in energy dissipation mainly depends on loading amplitude and the effects of overloads and mean compression amplitude can improve the fatigue performance of welded I-Section bracing members.

All the data obtained were compared with similar parameters for the basic alloy VK8 (Co-Mo), on the basis of which the experimental grades were developed.
The proposed by authors of [4] partial substitution of cobalt in the binders by other metals implies a reduction in the cost of HA without reducing cutting and operational characteristics, and in some cases, improving individual properties of EHA in comparison with the base alloy VK8.
Current environmental and economic requirements for the metal cutting processes imply a reduction or complete abandonment of the use of lubricating cooling liquids, which leads to an intensification of the wearing of cutting edges.
Each experiment was carried out five times, followed by statistical processing of experimental data.

However, due to the fact that the disaster situation data series in county unit are always relatively short, available data are often not sufficient for disaster risk analysis.

To partly fill the gap caused by incomplete data, the simplest technique is to change observations into normal fuzzy sets.
Each has its advantages and disadvantages and is more suitable for certain types of data than others.
CURAM can manage the attribute data and spatial data uniformly, and establishes the contact between them.

Distribution transformers are one of the two largest loss making components in electricity distribution networks, therefore their loss reduction can bring substantial economic and environmental benefits.
The trend of reduction in transformer losses in the last few decades is related to a considerable increase in energy costs [1].
For a proper comparative analysis, the optimal designs were compared on a common basis of input data, using the same current density values for the low and high voltage windings, and without constraints on the no load and load losses.
Although the construction cost is much higher than the cost of conventional transformers, a reduction up to 50% on the no-load losses level and a reduction of up to 20% to the transformer total owning cost is achieved.

Due to its high electronic and ionic conductivities as well as high catalytic activities for oxygen reduction [3-6], mixed ionic-electronic conductor (La1-xSrx)(CoyFe1-y)O3-δ - LSCF has been considered to be one of most promising cathode materials for intermediate or low temperature SOFCs, especially with ceria based electrolyte.
For optimum performance of the ITSOFC in generally, it is necessary to study the half-cells consisting of cathode and electrolyte, because the region of contact between cathode, electrolyte and oxygen gas, responsible for the oxygen reduction reaction, called Triple Phase Boundary (TPB).
For an increase of the ionic and electronic conductivities, and the catalytic activity of the reduction reaction of the oxygen gas, a functional layer of composite cathode of LSCF and CGO is conformed between the cathode and the electrolyte [5-8].
The characteristics such as enough porosity for the gases transport, raised electronic and ionic conductivities, stability in oxidant atmospheres, compatibility with the electrolyte and raised catalytic activity for oxygen reduction for LSCF cathode and LSCF-CGO composite cathode are necessary and, the CGO electrolyte, in turn, must be dense, solid, present high ionic conductivity and excellent stability in oxidant and reducing environments [1,9,10].
The crystalline structure of phase LSCF is orthorhombic and CGO phase is cubic, in according to data base JCPDS N°89-1268 and JCPDS N°75-161, respectively.

When heavy metals (such as Cu, Ag, Hg, etc.) standard electrode potential was higher than the Fe0, Fe nanoparticles achieved purpose of removal of contaminants by reduction and precipitation.
Feng et al. study results showed that the pollutant removal rate of Cr(VI) increased with the decrease of pH, the reduction of the initial concentration of Cr(VI), the increase of reaction temperature and the exaltation of nano Fe0 dosage [6].
Fe0 removal efficiency for Cu2+ increased with the reduction of Cu2+ initial concentration, the increase of reaction temperature, and the exaltation of nano Fe0 dosage.
Dynamic data fitting results showed that nFe0 and nFe0/PSS removal of As(III) complied with first order kinetics reaction equation.
After reaction, we could detect the As (V), As(III) and As0 on surface of nFe0 and nFe0/PSS, and the removal of As(III) was outcome of oxidation, reduction and adsorption reaction.

First step to solve this matter was to create several Directives meant to bring guidelines to increase energy efficiency which involve the energy consumption reduction.
The reduction of the energy consumption can be achieved by creating energy efficient buildings.
The evaluation was made having in consideration the following: the thermal and geometrical features which were mentioned above, the exterior climate data from Timisoara (climate zone 2) with exterior winter temperature of -15oC and exterior summer temperature of +28oC and also the fact that the heating system is being used also for domestic hot water and has an installed power of 24kW [5].
It is noticed that the thermal rehabilitation scenario by insulating the entire envelope (S5) reduce the heating energy demand by 83 percent unlike the second and third scenarios (S2 and S3) wherein the heating energy demand reduction is only about 50 percent.
These heating energy savings lead to a significant reduction of heating annual cost.
