Natural clay materials are hydrophilic and therefore they are not efficient sorbents for organic compounds.
Intercalations of natural clay materials, with organic cations, with quaternary ammonium groups may become these clays hydrophobic.

It is important in engineering to predict the fatigue life of composite materials.
The models of predicting fatigue damage and life of composite materials can be divided into two kinds[1].
Many researchers predicted the fatigue life of composite materials with progressive damage model.

Weld joint strength matching refers to the strength and ductibility matching between welding materials and base metal.
It means that we use weld materials which has lower strength than base metal, in order to get an equal strength weld joint with base metal.

Abstract.
As a basic technology of the information science, the basic function of the RFID technology is to quickly, correctly collect the data and the information of the object.
In 2009 there is a precast production management system which has been developed by the author and utilized in precast production management encompasses inspection of incoming materials, production process inspection, molds inspection, specimen strength feedback, and logistic and receiving management.
Summary As the development of the advanced information, computer science and the RFID technology, the RFID based management systems are widely introduced into various fields, which assist the process of the supply chain.
Lo: International Journal of Production Economics, Vol. 112 (2008) No.2, p. 630.

The glass material has been chosen as the target solid.
Different from the IDT that must work on the piezoelectric materials, the target solid can choose any materials as required.
Principle and Method According the piezoelectric effect, when an alternating voltage exerts on the piezoelectric materials, it will cause a periodical mechanical deformation in the lattice and launch various waves.

The results were shown that structure parameters had non-linear influence on dimensionless structure tensile specific stiffness, shearing specific stiffness and bending stiffness in different direction while the honeycomb core was equivalent as solid material with modified material properties.
In mirror design, the whole structure is usually made of same material to reach the same thermal mechanical property.
