However, the theoretical studies of rectification and reinforcement fall behind engineering practices because of engineering characteristics and other reason.
Therefore, it can help to correct the errors, so that the risk of complex engineering can be reduced during construction process.

Influence Line Analysis of the Plane Trusses Based on EXCEL Ming Bo Zhao (School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Southwest University of Science and Technology, MianYang 621010,China) Key words: EXCEL;plane trusses;influence line;VBA Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the application of Excel software in the constructing and plotting of influence lines in plane trusses.
The research outcome of this paper is expected to be helpful to engineering practice, teaching and research work.
The computing capabilities can be expended when adopting semi-bandwidth storage for the stiffness matrixes, so it is not any doubt to deal with the practical engineering problems.
Based on the personal idea 'You can construct and plot influence lines in the plane trusses if you can use Excel', the author has developed the computing program based on Excel, which can construct and plot influence lines in the plane trusses and is of value to engineering practice, teaching and research work.
