With extracted linear modal parameters (e.g. vibration type, modal frequency etc.), dynamic characteristics of tunnels (including natural frequency, vibration types and damping ratio etc.) are measured based on the back-analysis theory of engineering vibration.
The common stochastic signals in engineering belong to power signals, and their power spectrum is defined as the Fourier Transform of correlation function.

Numerical Analysis of Frictional Resistance on Embedded Large-diameter Cylinder Jun Zhang a, Wen-juan Yao b Department of Civil Engineering, P.O.
The embedded large-diameter cylinder had been widely used in coastal engineering since it could be embedded into ground directly without excavation.
The distribution and process of friction development are analyzed, in order to provide reference for engineering practice and simplifying calculation method.
Engineering background In this article, the foundation soil of the engineering project mainly composed of silty soft clay.

Introduction With the construction of highway projects in our country, the railway projects, large and medium-sized ports engineering, airport engineering projects in mountainous and hilly areas will inevitably face the problem of the high embankment.
Engineering case of research Measurement data.
Basing on the observational dates of the two sections (Fig.1, Fig.2) in an engineering test section, a comparative study on the gray theory prediction method, hyperbolic method and exponential method is conducted.
The gray prediction theory model is suitable for the engineering settlement prediction of the stable long time data under the constant load.

Prediction of Resilient Modulus for Hot Mix Asphalt based on Artificial Neural Network HU Chunhua School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Hubei University of Technology, Wuhan, P.R.
They have been successfully used in civil engineering applications such as process optimization, slope stability analysis, deep excavation forecast models, and pavement structures.
This will be beneficial for the engineering application.
Further research and large number of data collection should be done for the engineering application of artificial neural network prediction.

On Eco-village Planning in the Under-developed Area in Middle China Yunyang Zheng School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Nanchang Hangkong University, Nanchang, Jiangxi,330063, China zyunyang@163.com Keywords: Under-developed Area, Jiangxi Province, Eco-village Planning Abstract.
Tech-application: Supported by Eco-engineering to Realize Eco-technology Modern eco-engineering should be widely applied to residence yard building, village landscape planning, eco-environment building and agriculture tourism, so as to practice effective conservation of energy, water, electricity and land, develop new sources of energy, improve the efficiency of resources exploitation, reinforce the material circulation and multi-level use of energy, utilize and treat wastes properly, control the poisonous and harmful matters, and to achieve sustainable use of natural and agricultural resources technologically.
The applicable eco-engineering in eco-village includes: agricultural eco-engineering, water conservation, agricultural wastes utilization (such as manure, straw or sheeting), harmless treatment of domestic garbage, energy conservation, bio-treatment of sewage water, reuse of collected rainwater, eco-building, eco-designing of countryside landscape, exploitation of solar, wind, and biogas power.
Eco-building is a new type of building which applies modern technologies of eco-engineering with combination of traditional civil style, and makes eco-transformations in building materials, engineering designing, energy exploitation, wastes disposal, greening and beatification.
